Martha M. Barclay Ford is a sister to Alexander Barclay and heir.She was listed as living in Fruitvale, California at the time of the probate of Alexander’s estate in 1906.
Martha married a Jeremiah Ford. I do not know if he is related to Jerome Ford her sister Mary’s husband.
In the 1860 U.S. Federal Census, a Jeremiah F. Ford and Martha are living in Connecticut. It is possible that Jarvis might be a brother?

In 1865 Jeremy T. & Martha (Barclay) Ford had a baby daughter born to them on July 10, 1865 per the Farmington Vital Records, listed from Original Certificates FHL# 3662.
They had migrated to California by 1870 and appear in the U.S. Federal census living in San Francisco, California.

Oakland and Alameda
According to my information Martha M. was born in 1843 not 1838? This is very interesting for if this is true it changes the birth order of the Barclay siblings.
We find them in Brooklyn Twp., Alameda Co., California again in 1910:

I have been unable to locate Jeremiah and Martha in the 1920 census, nor have I found an obituary notice which means I have yet to find where they are buried.
I believe they had only Carrie but it was indicated that another child maybe have been born according to the 1900 census.
1. Carrie Marine Ford was born 10 July 1865 in Farmington, Connecticut and may have died on 19 February 1943 in San Francisco.

I was unable to locate Carrie in the 1920 and 1930 census. I believe I found her in the 1940 living in the Old Peoples Home in San Francisco. She was 74 years old and born in Connecticut. The funeral records indicate that it will take a lot of digging to learn more about her life and the Bowhay and Gagos connections are interesting.
There are several Martha Fords listed in the California Death Index but one has the middle initial of M. So I think it is her. This Martha died 13 January 1916 in Santa Clara? Jeremiah Ford her husband does not appear unless his first name is spelled differently.
